Meet vibrant people

Join one of 30 club sports or sign up for intramural play in eight others.

  • Catch Wildcats football at Ryan Field.
  • Help with Dance Marathon -- the campus's largest charity fund-raiser -- or the Special Olympics.
  • Hear a lecture by a former ambassador or future president.
  • Attend a dance recital and concert on campus the same day.
  • Hop the "L" and visit the Art Institute in downtown Chicago.
  • Paint the Rock.

Or simply relax and enjoy a sunny fall day on the lawns overlooking Lake Michigan.

You'll find it all here.

Make friends with an extraordinary group of people. Your fellow Northwestern students will be amazing – and amazingly diverse. About half will be majoring in the arts and sciences, and the others will be following their dreams in theater, education, engineering, music, and journalism. Our students come from all 50 states. Six percent are from other countries. The number of men and women is nearly equal. Thirty-nine percent are racial or ethnic minorities.
