Hours. The Office of Undergraduate Studies and Advising (OUSA) is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., except on days when the university is officially closed. Some advisers, administrators, and other staff members work there year-round, and others are there during the regular academic year (Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters).

Address, phone, and fax. The Office of Undergraduate Studies and Advising (OUSA) is divided between two locations, both on Sheridan Road between Foster and Emerson Streets. If you are unsure about which building to go to, call 847-491-8916 for more information. Or, you can stop by one of our buildings; the other is just a few steps away.

• 1922 Sheridan Road. People working at 1922 Sheridan include Assistant Dean Richard Weimer, the Assistant Dean for Freshman, Lane Fenrich, and Associate Dean Mary Finn.
• 1908 Sheridan Road. This is where to find the Weinberg College Advisers. Others working at 1908 Sheridan include the Assistant Dean and Coordinator of Advising, Mark Sheldon, and the Assistant Dean for Curriculum, Joan Linsenmeier.

To make an appointment with any Weinberg College Adviser, call 847-491-8916 or stop by 1908 Sheridan Road. (The College Advisers do not generally set up appointments through email.)

To make an appointment with Assistant Dean Richard Weimer, call 847-491-7559 or stop by 1922 Sheridan Road.

To make an appointment with Assistant Dean Mark Sheldon or Assistant Dean Joan Linsenmeier, call 847-491-8916.

To make an appointment with Freshman Dean Lane Fenrich or Associate Dean Mary Finn, call 847-491-7560.

Advising by email. If you have a question about College rules and requirements or want some guidance as you make academic choices, you can send questions by email. Email advising is intended to supplement meetings with College Advisers, not to replace them. It is useful especially for straightforward academic advising questions. Email your question to your adviser or our general advising address, wcas-adviser@northwestern.edu, and a College Adviser will send you a response.
