  • NURAP
    • Northwestern University Research Administration Professionals, or NURAP, is an organization supporting research administration professionals at Northwestern University.  Membership is open to all members of the Northwestern University research community.
  • NCURA
    • National Council of University Research Administrators, or NCURA, serves its members and advances the field of research administration through education and professional development programs, the sharing of knowledge and experience, and by fostering a professional, collegial, and respected community.
  • SRA
    • The Society of Research Administrators International, or SRA, is dedicated to the education and professional development of research administrators working in varied organizational settings as well as the advancement of research administration as a profession around the world.
  • CRA
    • The CRA certification test is developed by the Research Administrators Certification Council which was formed in 1993 as an independent non-profit organization.  The Council is composed of active certified research administrators whose role is to certify that an individual, through experience and testing, has the fundamental knowledge necessary to be a professional research or sponsored programs administrator.
  • Grantsmanship for the Research Professional
    • This course aims to teach and enhance skills associated with effective grant opportunity identification, preparation, writing and submission to investigators engaged in research as well as research administrators responsible for pursuing grant opportunities.  It is taught by Holly Falk-Krzesinski in the School of Continuing Studies.
  • ORI Research Administration Training
    • This four-session seminar, which is held on a quarterly basis, is geared towards research administrators and any staff involved in research administration.  The seminar is free, but registration is required.
