How To Tell If You Are Part of the Weinberg IT Active Directory
For Windows XP users:
Press control+alt+delete on your computer. You should see a Windows Security window similar to the one pictured below. Look at the Logon Information section. If it says, "You are logged on as AD\[your NetID]," your computer is joined to the Weinberg IT Active Directory. Click Cancel to return to your Windows session.

For Windows 7 users:
Open System by clicking the Start button (the Windows icon on your taskbar), right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties. You should see a Windows System window similar to the one pictured below. If your computer is connected to the Weinberg IT Active Directory, you'll see "Domain: ad.wcas.northwestern.edu" under the section for Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings.
For OS X users:
Open System Preferences by clicking the Apple menu in the upper left hand corner of your screen and choosing System Preferences. Choose the "Accounts" pane in the window that opens, and then select Login Options. You should see a Accounts window similar to the one pictured below. If your computer is connected to the Weinberg IT Active Directory, you'll see "Network Account Server: Multiple" as seen in the image.
