Network Storage

How Do I Connect To Network Storage?

What is Network Storage?

Network storage is an online storage service Weinberg IT provides to store and backup files and data. You can use network storage as an extension of your computer's storage and save all of your primary documents on the network. As long as you have an internet connection, you have access to all of the data located on the network storage.

All faculty and staff in Weinberg have network storage space, separated into individual work space and collaborative work space. Individual work space quotas are 20 GB per faculty member and 5 GB per staff member. Quotas for collaborative space are at least 20 GB, depending on the needs of the research group or department. Individual work space is linked to a single NetID and cannot be shared – use it for your personal work files. Collaborative space can be shared among multiple NetIDs, usually by department – use it for research data and shared documents.
