Dell Purchases

Dell models recommended by Weinberg IT can be accessed in the Dell store in iBuyNU by selecting the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences option under the NU Contract Pricing drop-down menu.

Faculty and staff in Weinberg may purchase any Dell computer meeting the minimum Weinberg IT hardware/warranty standards, but we recommend the Optiplex desktops and Latitude laptops.

The Optiplex 790 bundle is designed to meet the desktop computing needs of most users in Weinberg.  The Optiplex 990 bundle is recommended for users with special computing needs requiring additional processing power and memory or a RAID configuration.
