Connect to the Faculty Server via Fetch

Fetch can be used to upload files to your web space. You still have to create pages in Dreamweaver or another web authoring tool. If you're unfamiliar with creating web pages, see our Faculty Website FAQs: "I don't know how to create web pages."

  1. Download and Install Fetch (for more detail see Installing Fetch).
  2. Launch Fetch by browsing your hard drive to Applications > Fetch.
  3. In the New Connection window enter the following information:
    Username: (your NetID)
    Connect using: SFTP
    Password: (your NetID password) 
  4. Once you are logged in, double click the public_html folder.

To upload files from your computer, drag them in to the Fetch window or click Put and choose the files you want to upload.
